Reservations Coordinator

Job Purpose

The Reservations Coordinator is responsible for providing accurate quotes and ensuring on-time performance and optimum transportation utilization through efficient routing based on scheduled times and pickup locations. To perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Professionally communicates with customers, drivers and management team to ensure smooth dispatch operations.

Duties and Responsibility

The Reservations Coordinator is a focused and responsible position. The main goal is to provide excellent customer service to our customers and drivers. The Reservation Coordinator will serve as a liaison between our customers and drivers.

  • Deal directly with our customers/drivers either by telephone, electronically or in person

  • Respond promptly to inquiries

  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments

  • Provides customer quotes

  • Respond promptly to inquiries

  • Able to communicate clearly

  • Able to adapt to changes at the last minute

  • Able to perform weekly audits that pertain to our operations policies and procedures

  • Route together all reservations based on scheduled times and pickup locations

  • Contact and dispatch drivers and ensure drivers are in communication with dispatch at least one (1) hour prior to any scheduled pickup

  • Take incoming call from customers and drivers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Take incoming calls for new reservations

  • Uses tools to find addresses and quote fares, Can read a map, check flights and make changes as necessary to meet customer needs

  • Represent iShuttle at conferences and tradeshows

  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined


  • High School Diploma

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Stable employment history

  • (1) One year transportation experience preferred - Not required
